# Assign Storage to Case

### Assign storage to a case

POST /storage/:uuid/assign-to-case

Assign the given storage item to a case. The storage item is identified by `uuid` in the path.

Request body: JSON. Provide either `case_id` or `case_uuid`.

Response: 200 OK — body is the updated storage object (including the assigned `case`).

Errors: 400 if neither `case_id` nor `case_uuid` is provided or body is invalid; 500 for server errors.
